Brother Knight Jim Vail
Jim is a Vietnam Combat Vet, Retired Sheriff’s Deputy, my Former Father-In-Law and has been my friend for about 40 years. Jim is being sent home from the hospital because the doctors can’t do anything about the infection invading Jim’s heart valves and he isn’t a candidate for heart surgery. Hospice will take over his care. So I turn, as we nearly always turn, to Father McGivney. Please ask Father McGivney to intercede on Jim’s behalf and, if it is the will of God, clear the infection from Jim’s body, especially his heart. Please also pray for Jim’s wife Dee, his daughter Michelle and my daughter Samantha as we traverse this very trying time.

Sir Knight James Mekler, a Law Enforcement officer and charter council member of Most Holy Trinity Council 17396 was savagely attacked while serving a warrant to a parolee. His arm and elbow were broken in several places. He had surgery on 6 April and is in recovery

SK John Morford
John suffered a broken neck injury while performing some home repairs. He has since had surgery and will be at Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis for the next 1-2 weeks. Other than a report of some sensation in his arms no further information is available. Marjorie, his wife, says that he is in good spirits and is actually telling jokes.
John passed away on January 11, 2024
